Amogo Ogichidaa miinawaa Amogo Ogichidaa’kwe The Seven Gifts/Principals of Anishinaabe Knowledge for the Cancer Warrior Nibwaakaawin (Wisdom): To cherish knowledge is to know wisdom on the Manijooshiwaapine Babaamaadiziwin (Cancer Journey) before you.
Glossary Although Southwestern Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe language) is the standardized form of language used, the SE dialect has limitations on certain words. Therefore I’ve used a combination of Ojibwe dialects, largely Northern Ojibwe, to enable me to define certain terms. Although some of these words are in the plural form, they also have singular form; however, I’ve chosen not to include the plural and singular forms in the glossary. In the text, English word translations are in parenthesis; if a word is repeated, the English translation is dropped to avoid repetition.
